Description
For this issue #151, Quiltmania magazine travels through the Commonwealth countries: we will first stop in England to meet Wendy Reed, who has brought Potholders Quilts back into fashion, Laurie LaBar will tell you all about it! As autumn begins to set in, we will continue our visit with the Craft & Quilt Fair show in Melbourne, which, after a two-year absence due to the pandemic, has decided to relaunch quilts shows with great fanfare by creating the Australian Quilt Show. The Australian journey continues with a Quilt Home Tour of Val Bensen’s home, an Australian artist whose life changed 20 years ago, when she discovered Primarily Quilts shop of our dear Di Ford. Don’t miss the article and tutorial on the Potholder method (quilt-as-you-go technique), by Wendy Reed, and of course the 5 incredible projects to make and part 5 of the Mystery Quilt!
