In 2012, Quiltmania Editions published a book on the textile journey of Anne Woringer.
A Story Woven of Thread is a comprehensive book recounting her background and progression from 1981 to 2011. It is illustrated with 130 quilts and explains her research in the light of influences and successive techniques.
This catalogue continues her story with the works she has since created.
As in the last part of the book, it is about discharging with shibori techniques and stencilling on black or indigo fabrics. But hand embroidery has become ever more important.
In addition to her major work, one will discover many smaller pieces, varied and playful, that sometimes serve as the starting point for a greater work.
