“QUILTS IN THE SHEARING SHED"
Up to 100 quilts made by Brigitte Giblin and her stu-dents will be on display in the rustic shearing shed at O’Connell, 20kms from Bathurst.
The Home Patch and Cottage Quiltworks will host pop up shops. Re-freshments will be available for purchase. There will be beautiful hand-made items for sale, fabric packs and general sewing items. Eftpos and credit cards accepted. Raffle of Handmade Quilt and 2 runner up prizes.

Gerald is an internationally known quilt collector, historian, author, painter, quiltmaker, art teacher and quilt appraiser (he received his AQS certification in 1988).
Given his extensive background and the precious knowledge he has acquired while collecting antique pieces for so many years, he will be in charge of articles about his favorite topic: antique quilts.
He has started in your Quiltmania n°114 with his article “The power of Patchwork in celebration of childhood”.

A huge thank you to all of our partners Bohin, Clover, Aurifil and PSR Quilt.This year, the whole Quiltmania Editions team (including the boys) will create 20 “Heart” blocks, in collaboration with quilters from the “Tuesday Quilters Group”.
These blocks will be revealed the last Tuesday of each month, from January to October 2017!
Each block measures 20 x 25 cm (8’’ x 10’’), sewing margins not included.
Regarding background fabrics, make sure you have one or several fabrics( in total: 70 x 110 cm 25 ½’’ x 44’’)
For the rest, it will be an opportunity to use your scraps, to ensure harmony and to play with colors!
