This quilt is a tribute by Cindy to her mother, who loved peonies. When Cindy moved to Tennessee, she discovered that the peony was called piney rose there.
Just like this delicate fl ower composed of many petals surrounding its centre, this quilt is made up of many successive borders around its distinctive centre. Some embroidery stitches are added to this original and sophisticated quilt, which is made with patience, entirely by hand, with great emotion along the way…
