This issue of Quiltmania is perfectly in tune with the celebrations of the holiday season. We meet American quilt designers Barb Adams and Alma Allen and admire a selection of their warm and sweet quilts. The 2006 Festival of Quilts of Birmingham, UK, presents its most beautiful works. They astonish us with their creativity and spirit of youth. While the Noyon Patchwork Days prove very innovative too, we find that the Enchanting Home and Christmas quilts of Nicole, one of our Belgian readers, are absolutely fascinating.
