A new year, a new magazine issue…and lots of new quilt ideas! The first 2007 issue allows us a glimpse into the wonderful International Quilt Festival in Houston and takes us to the 12th European Patchwork Meeting in the Silver Valley, France. There, we admire exceptional pieces made by Japanese quilt stars who made the trip to Alsace. Meeting Françoise Grall makes us feel like making quilts in muted colours to keep the chill of the season at bay.
